Disappointed, harmful for back, do not recommend, can't sit long hours, serious back issues with itLalarukhI have been ikea for 10
Plus years, used Markus chair twice. Relocated countries so bought this for using for 3 to 4 months intention. This has caused major pain in my back. Please do yourselves a favor to buy Markus not this or any other ikea chair. For kids might be ok this one, for adults above 40
Years old don’t recommend. I have consistent pain when I used it for few hours. Strongly propose not to buy this ever. I am now using sofa in living room, can’t sit on this anymore. This is not useless it’s impacting health. IKEA shall remove this from their selling list and recall it back from customers who don’t raise their voice or concerns.
Amazing ValueAnnThis was a surprise for the price and better than more expensive chairs I’ve had in the past. Very comfortable but I also bought the Ikea back support cushion. The chair can be quite high which I needed for a higher desk.
Painful and no paddingLauraPainful to sit on and the padded seat is so small it isn’t comfortable to sit on. The back cover zip also does close down the bottom of the chair
Comfortable seating at deskHeatherComfortable. Practical and easy to construct. Adjustable. Covering can be removed to wash.
Comfortable, stylish, not sure about wheelsFrancesThe wheels are designed to move freely when the chair is in use. On a smooth surface this means the chair moves more freely than I prefer.
Easy to assembleNataliePerfect for a desk chair in a first home set up. Price was excellent and comfort achieved

Value for moneyFayecomfy for hours
Perfect for my heightMelissaI am considered petite- 5’3 and since the chair does not adjust its height, I can comfortably have my legs under the table. You can lean back as much as you want and yes like other reviews says, you do tend to slip forward a little bit which I don’t mind as it makes me stand up and walk/drink water then back to work.
Good sturdy chairJuliannaWell made and comfortable. Good height and back support
Uncomfortable and the wheels don't moveKarenI found it difficult to screw the back, i tried to tighten it until my hands hurt but to no avail. So now the back is wiggling as it is not tightened. The seat is hard, very uncomfortable if you work from 9-5 likeyself and the wheels doesn't move, like it's locked in place. Not worth buying this to be honest.
Flintan office chairAnnaAbsolutely great little chair. Very comfortable and easy for this 76 year old to assemble. Thank you IKEA!
Comfy and Value for MoneyCrystalI was genuinely surprised with how comfortable this chair is. Recommend getting the arm rest and chair pad to go with it. It was easy to put together too. Great value!
Flintan chairDanaNice, fluid spin. Works well.
BE CAUTIOUS OF IKEA WEBSITE PRODUCT COLOURSMarkAgain like the table, this imagery has a vague subtle pinkish tone, but the final product is a drab dull heshen colour... was really disappointed about that, tones are important to me. The table made me madder.
Flintan Office ChairRikSturdy chair and good value for money. Easy to assemble
not for long sittingTaraizChair is good, but not good for long sitting job. You feel the wood seat, as the form is very thin. Overall good for short time sitting
