AwesomeMilineThis kitchen island is a perfect size, it has good storage space and great for 2 people to have dinner. It looks chic and modern.
some screws were hard to get inLydiaThe counter top is very nice, we like it a lot but screwing into the legs and counter top (both made out of hardwood) became a hassle. Since some of the screws were unable to screw in properly, gaps show in between, also that made some of the cam lock failed to get in too. So, now we decided to return it.
Sturdy… but DaltonRecently purchased this. It does chip easily and my counter top came warped so the center screws won’t hold it down maybe the table top will level out after some use, but we are off to a bad start which has me disappointed. The unit is still very strong. Tech support told me to continue using as I would and that an exchange is possible if I can bring it in but I’m 7 hours away from a store
Small and LargeTheresaI have two of these small islands that I use for my coffee bar, and I also have one of the large kitchen islands. I love them! They’re so sturdy, they fit so much in them to keep things organized and I also love the white with the butcher block tops! I wish they were a bit cheaper considering I have so many of them! Lol
Great tableOleksandrI use this as a table for my coffee equipment, and it's great. It's very sturdy and doesn't even creak. The drawer is also great, although I'd prefer it to be a bit taller.

TORNVIKEN Think I got a dud!!!SteveI was little gun shy writing this review given the mostly positive comments. First off you need a PHD in building IKEA furniture to get this right on the first go. There are just a couple of things it would have been nice to know during the building process. I know this goes against the ikea mission but a few words in a couple of places would have been nice. I’m no engineer and the pictures do not provide enough information. I ended up drilling out some of the dowels so good thing I am somewhat handy to figure this out. On the downside I am not happy with blemishes on the grain of the wood. See the pictures. It really takes away from the rating. Unfortunately it is the luck of the draw when you open the packages. I contemplated taking it back the thought of disassembling and packing it up is not top of mind. I’ll see how I feel in a few days.

Bought this well made, food prep, Breaky, coffee bar 14 yers ago.JoyThis is a sturdy, well made kitchen Island. Great as a food prep, breakfast bar, and good hang around spot. It was so very easy to assemble. Be sure to treat the table top with a food safe oil or wax product which Ikea sells. We didn't have to disassemble it when we moved it to three different homes and it's still as sturdy as the day we bought it.
