You can switch each of the lamp heads on or off individually and direct the lights wherever you want so that you can, for example, use one as an uplight and the others for reading.
It’s simple to direct the light where you want it since the lamp head rotates and moves up and down on the pole.

Does what it is supposed to doAnonymous reviewerI like this product. I bought it so I could read in the dark mornings, and it does a great job. I bought the 600lm lamps so they are bright. I want to address some of the negative comment. Some people are saying it is a cheap and poor quality product. Well of course it is: it's IKEA. It's a £25 lamp stand. Of course you're not going to get Harrods/John Lewis quality. But it's brilliant for what it is and what it's suppose to be. The next thing is some people saying the lamps are difficult to put in. I understand that, but as an electrician I've worked with 1000s of these, so here's a tip for you. When you insert the lamp, start to add a very small pressure on the lamp (very small) and start to SLOWLY rotate it anticlockwise. You will eventually feel t "fall" into the slot in the lampholder. When you feel that, add more pressure on the lamp and start to rotate in clockwise. You will feel it lock into place. It took me under a minute to do both lamps

Do not waste your time or moneyAnonymous reviewerThought this was gorgeous and a bargain. Got it home and the bulbs won't stay in and once you assemble it, there's no way to dismantle it. This is now a product I have that I CAN NOT USE. Learn from my mistake and don't buy it
good valueAnonymous reviewerGood value item. The column parts screw together and then lock solid, but will never unlock again. The bulbs take standard GU10s and can be a bit of a fiddle to fit but can be done. Overall happy enough to buy a second unit which I did.

Dapper!Anonymous reviewerIt looks a lot more than the price would suggest, everyone loves it, it always makes an impression.
Things to know: 1) Because the wire is external to the stem, you can buy two and combine the pieces, to make it taller overall, and with 4 spotlights. 2) Fitting the spotlight bulbs can be a bit fiddly, just persevere until eventually they slot into place, you probably won't have to change them for a long time.
