Metod oven and microwave cabinet fits perfectlyAnonymous reviewerI was doing a kitchen renovation, using some old cabinets and putting 4 new Ikea ones in. I read the reviews, spoke to joiners, got plans - the whole shebang. The main issue, it would seem in mixing cabinets was that Ikea cabinets are deeper and their legs are smaller (8cm compared to a standard 15cm), oh and that they don’t have as deep a void at the back for pipework.
That said, knowing this I still chose to go with Ikea cabinets as I wanted them!
The cabinets were easy to put together, very solid and I love the doors that I chose. I decided to use 15cm legs on this unit to match the existing run, and bought a new plinth to fit. The space in the two cupboards is vast and fits all my ovenware and dishes and I couldn’t be happier with my mix and match kitchen.
Could have been a 5 starAnonymous reviewerAs a tall oven unit this serves the purpose. However removed 1 star for two reasons, instructions was designed for fridge cabinet, not for oven unit - so had to figure out ourselves. Second, the screw head that holds the bracket for the oven shelf is about 2mm small, so if you dont get it right in the centre of bracket hole, it would bug your mind if it would come off when you place the oven (due to its weight). So I ended up using washers to ensure it holds properly. Otherwise, it is a decent unit,
Adequate Product Anonymous reviewerI bought this unit along with several others to update my pre-existing kitchen. As this unit is a multi-purpose unit and can be used for either an oven and built-in microwave or a built-in fridge freezer it should have come with multiple sets of instructions, sadly it only came with the ones for the fridge freezer so my husband had to figure out where to place the shelving for an oven and microwave which made the task more time consuming than it should have been. Also because everything came packaged separately with only codes on them, we had to keep going back to the receipt and deciphering what shelves were for which unit.
