Reviews

Good concept ..Anonymous reviewerHonestly, the concept is great, it's the quality of the stainless steel that I'm not truly happy with. With hard water in England, the stainless steel gets so spotted with water spots that dry and look ugly. And while we are on stainless, we also got the stainless sink and it is the same way. A very thin, low- quality of stainless steel that leaves ugly water spots all over the sink. I try drying the sink every time, but how many times can you keep drying out a sink. Ikea has wonderful ideas, concepts, etc, but needs to work on better quality of items you use every day in your home.3
Colander - NorrsjonAnonymous reviewerSolid robust colander, fits over the sink well. A very useful bit of kitchen kit. The Norrsjon chopping board is to wide to sit beside the colander, which would have made vegetable preparation much easier.5
ColanderAnonymous reviewerWell made, sturdy, fits well over sink.5
so usefulAnonymous reviewerwell made, convenient, fits both my IKEA sinks, sturdy stainless steel with rubber edging5
Great accessories Anonymous reviewerWanted a basin to fit my IKEA sink this sink accessory is stylish, practical and very robust. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. 5
Sink drainerAnonymous reviewerTook a risk as I hadn’t measured my sink but fits perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for.5
Great addition Anonymous reviewerNice to wash and let drain veggies, fruits etc5
Very convenient for vegetables Anonymous reviewerIt’s a useful and good quality.5
functional and pleasantAnonymous reviewerfits well, does not distract from the sink etc and better than having two sinks5
HeavyAnonymous reviewerWe returned this as it didn’t quite fit as it’s tapered slightly underneath so was scratching the sides of the sink. Very sturdy but quite a heavy item. We have the plastic version previously which they’ve stopped doing which is disappointing as it was much cheaper and fit perfectly4
So convenient for washing veg.Anonymous reviewerSo convenient for washing veg.5
Useful but had to replace due to rubber perishingAnonymous reviewerI find this really helpful but we had to replace our first one after about 3 years as the plastic/rubber black edging starter to perish and was therefore difficult to clean.3
Multi use sink accessoryAnonymous reviewerWe have an Ikea sink so this fits very neatly at the side. We use it to keep a small compost pot in, overflow of vegetable peelings when catrering for a large number, small amounts of washing up and number of other uses around the sink. Immensely useful. It's only drawback is the plastic edging degrades after a while.4
Fits well in my new kitchen sinkAnonymous reviewerI bought this to use in the sink of my new kitchen it is useful when preparing veg for draining the peelings etc.4
Washing vegetables CoilinderAnonymous reviewerWonderful to place under taps in sink . Great size & looks Classy5
Fits perfectlyAnonymous reviewerFits perfectly, very useful5

Perfect 2-in-1 colander for kitchen sink
Review: 5 out of 5 stars.5
Although it is not adjustable, it some how perfectly fits my sink. I use it to dry my dishes most of the time, and when I cook I use it as colander to wash my veggies. Perfect fit for small kitchen

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
