How do I attach a BESTÅ storage combination to the wall?

Safety is very important to us at IKEA. That is why we advise you to secure your furniture. You can fix your BESTÅ cabinet to the wall with the included fittings.

To ensure safety, we recommend that all cabinets sold by IKEA are attached to the wall. Different wall materials require different fittings. Therefore, use fittings suitable for your specific wall material. You can find various types of wall fittings in our screw and plug sets, which are sold separately.
If you would like to hang your BESTÅ cabinet on the wall, use the BESTÅ suspension rail (requires 1 rail per 60 cm element). Ensure there is at least 5 cm of clearance between the top of the base unit and the ceiling to allow space for lifting the unit onto the rail.

BESTÅ TV cabinets cannot be mounted using a suspension rail. The 38 cm low version attaches directly to the wall following the assembly instructions, while the 64 cm high version stands on legs.
