Our 1972 catalogue had the GOGO series as “fun-shaped tubes with extra-soft cushions". Named ÖNNESTAD in the Nytillverkad collection, the armchair and cushions are by Charlotte Rude and Hjördis Olsson-Une.

Part of the Nytillverkad collection where several IKEA classics have been given a new look.
This cushion set goes with ÖNNESTAD armchair frame and was described as "extra-soft cushions" when the GOGO series was launched in the 1972 catalogue. Designers: Charlotte Rude and Hjördis Olsson-Une.
In 1972, we used standard steel for the frame’s tubes, but the tubes are made of high-strength steel in this updated version, which cuts material consumption in half.
Shake and fluff up the cushion a couple of times to quickly give it its proper shape.

According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover's ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 25,000 cycles. A cover that withstands 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture that should withstand everyday use in the home.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.Only use the armchair together with ÖNNESTAD cushion set, sold separately.
