SKYTTA sliding door system

Skytta: more than a wardrobe, a way to transform your space

We know the feeling — sometimes it seems like there’s never quite enough space at home. That’s why we created SKYTTA, our sliding door system designed to adapt to your life, not the other way around. It’s not just about closing off a wardrobe. It’s about rethinking a room, creating new functions and bringing order with style in a smart, accessible way.

Design your style with sliding doors: endless ways to personalize

With the SKYTTA modular system, you get to choose every detail. Do you prefer the light feel of glass or the elegant look of a glossy finish? Would you like mirrored sliding doors to make the room feel bigger and brighter, or the warmth of a wood-effect panel for a more cozy atmosphere? You can combine materials and colours, create contrast or keep things minimal. Frames are available in white and black, with metal or oak-effect finishes, giving you the foundation to build the look you want. Whether you’re planning a reach-in closet or a room divider, SKYTTA helps you create a solution that feels like you.

A smart, practical, space-saving sliding wardrobe solution

Gain valuable space: one of the biggest advantages of sliding doors is that they don’t swing outward. No need to leave room for hinged doors to open. That makes them a great space-saving solution for smaller bedrooms, narrow hallways or any room where every centimetre matters. The sliding motion is smooth and quiet, designed for everyday life — even when you’re in a rush.

And it’s not just for organizing clothes. A sliding door system is also a great way to hide a laundry area, create concealed storage or even divide a larger room. You can finally carve out that study nook you’ve been wanting, or turn part of a bedroom into a truly organized walk-in closet. SKYTTA gives you the flexibility to reorganize your home as your needs change over time.

A durable system designed with you in mind, from planning to assembly

Planning your wardrobe solution is simple and intuitive. At IKEA, we believe quality shouldn’t be a luxury. That’s why our wardrobe solutions are made to last. The SKYTTA system is sturdy, with versatile sliding doors made from quality materials such as aluminum, and backed by a 10-year guarantee. It’s our way of saying you can count on us.

And when it comes to assembly? We’ll be honest: it’s a job for two people and takes a bit of care, but the clear instructions guide you step by step. Our rails are designed to work even when ceilings and floors aren’t perfectly level. And if you’d rather not think about installation, you can always choose our assembly service. We want your experience to feel positive from the first spark of inspiration to your new sliding door wardrobe, fully installed and ready to use.

Now it’s your turn. Get inspired by the many possible combinations and start imagining your new space. Explore the SKYTTA range and find the solution that fits your needs.
