What should I consider when installing doors on my PAX wardrobe?
When you install doors on your PAX wardrobe, make sure you have enough ceiling height and that the hinges are in the right position.
Sliding doors
Install the rails for the sliding doors on top of the wardrobe. You need enough ceiling height to lift the doors into place.
For a 236 cm PAX frame, you need a ceiling height of at least 240 cm. For a 201 cm PAX frame, you need a ceiling height of at least 205 cm.
Hinged doors
Attach the hinges to the doors first. Then attach the doors to the wardrobe. This makes it easier to place the hinges correctly.
Want drawers in your wardrobe? You can only install drawers where there are no hinges.
Hinges on a 201 cm PAX frame
On a 201 cm PAX frame, the hinge on the right door is one position higher than the hinge on the left door. The left door is the same as the right door, but installed upside down. This means that the middle hinge sits slightly above the centre on one door and slightly below the centre on the other.
