Assembly off-site preferredRachaelThe product is fine and I like it. I had opted for assembly and did not know the assembly would be done on-site (particularly as the product did not look too bulky and I had thought that it would be delivered assembled). I asked the IKEA delivery man to put it together outside my HDB unit. As it turned out, the assembly was quite loud as it involved drilling and banging to set the shelves in place. Woke my neighbour’s baby up. Suggest to let customers know that on-site assembly will involve some noise so that we can be better prepared.4
