Great dresser sturdyTaylorThis is a wonderful dresser, drawers are nice and big. Don't let other reviews on the instructions deter you, if you take your time its not hard at all. My tip is to separate all the little parts into desperate bags before starting so it's all separated
Solid piece BlakePeople’s main issue with this piece is putting it together, which seems to be the reason for most bad reviews of IKEA furniture. Just get good at making furniture. Get good at screwing things together, reading directions, and checking your work. It really is not that hard.
This piece is great. It’s a really solid dresser. We got the blue one, and it looks awesome. It feels high-quality, sturdy, and solid, with plenty of room. Yes, it took a while to put together, but so does any furniture piece, especially one with drawers. So if you’re not prepared to spend some time putting furniture together, don’t order furniture that you have to put together.
The one interesting part is the drawer system: when you have one drawer open and try to open another, it closes the first drawer. It’s just different, and I’ve never experienced that with any other piece of furniture. But it’s not a big deal, because why would I need two drawers open at the same time?
Mixed ReviewNatalieWe purchased this for our bedroom and we were eager to receive it. I had read mixed reviews, and after seeing it first hand, I would have to agree that our review is mixed. The assembly should have a difficulty rating, and this one should be rated pretty high. My previous IKEA purchases have been relatively straightforward, but these instructions were convoluted and poorly written. We, frustratingly, had to redo several parts numerous times as there were integral details that were not made evident (eg. the orientation of a piece and which way to turn it to add the next piece). My husband and I are not sure that we would purchase another IKEA furniture product again in the future if this is how the instructions are now written. It took us several hours, and the only saving grace is that it looks nice and it's relatively sturdy. We are just hopeful that it stands the test of time.
Defective partsAmyI purchased this and put it together and noticed a crack on one of the drawer sides, it’s particle board so understand it’s not the strongest but didn’t expect to have a crack in my drawer brand new. I contacted IKEA the next day from when I purchased it they said they would send me a replacement side drawer panel two days later I got a vague email and contacted them to find I would need to go all the way back to the store in order to get this exact part replaced. Some resolution…..looks nice but quality is extremely questionable.
Mis-drilled holes, super flimsy MDF on major component // broke in buildingRichardI've been an IKEA customer since 1993; have never, ever had an issue with IKEA furniture - moved my first IKEA TV stand with bookshelves and bridge cabinet from the Middle East, to the Caribbean, to Africa, to the USA, and then to Europe and back to the USA; never a problem putting the stuff together. This dresser is just not up to snuff. Two holes misdrilled/reversed on the major weigh-supporting center panel; had a second person examine in case I was mistaken; nope. In rotating the partially-built cabinet, the two uncolored horizontal pieces anchored to the center major support panel tore out of the really low-density center board (screws very close to the edge). We now have a mis-drilled center panel broken at the lower/rear. Photos show the very low density board of the center panel. IKEA Chat completely ineffective - waiting for 15 minutes for a co-worker to join. I'll try their phone number. We drove 150 miles to the IKEA to pick up this unit; the low rating is for a reason.

Extremely Disappointed - Poor Quality and Broken Parts.PegahI am profoundly disappointed with the quality of this IKEA product. The instructions were misleading, and a piece broke during assembly while I was following the steps exactly with no pressure. Seeing other reviewers post photos of the exact same damage confirms there is a serious defect with this item. This experience has left me completely dissatisfied.
Poor instructions and materialAndyI needed a new dresser and liked this product's design; however, I made a bad purchase. The instruction could have been better with better details and inventory count of items. Half way through the build the lower back part cracked… Very disappointing..
Amazing but hard to build DianaThe instructions are not very clear and the parts are not labeled. I am usually very good at putting things together but this one took me hours to do. There are no videos to guide you either. Please Ikea make a better manual or put labels on the parts to make it easier for us. Thanks.
Bad MillaThe product came damaged in several parts
Good designQiaomeiWe love the design and the space it contains. But the only issue is the back panel cracked when we assembled it.
I LOVE IT DevynI absolutely love this dresser! It feels very sturdy, the drawers slide smoothly, and it has a nice weight to it, which I personally like. It also doesn’t scratch easily and feels like really good quality, especially for the price.
I will say, it took me about 3–4 hours to put together. It definitely takes PATIENCE, but it’s honestly not hard to understand as long as you focus, read the instructions carefully, and don’t try to rush through it. If you rush, you’re more likely to make a mistake.
One thing that really helped me was separating and organizing all of the screws and pieces before I started building.
I’m normally not someone who writes reviews, but I absolutely love this dresser and felt like I had to! I’d hate for someone who is interested in buying it to change their mind because of reviews from people who had trouble putting it together. Take your time, follow the instructions, and have patience. For the price, I definitely think it’s worth the money! ❤️
Beautiful hardwareAnaThe only reason why I only have it four stars is because it doesn’t feel sturdy with all the particle board. The drawers are smooth, but the particle board is what I’m not too happy about.
No, don’t do it!ConorVery poor quality and fabrication. I received two identical end pieces and it wasn’t until two hours into assembly that I discovered it. The unit comes in about 50 boards, over 100 screws/bolts/dowels. A straight up mess and a fantastic waste of time. 30minutes wait for customer services to answer my call. Waste of a day off. IKEA is lucky this thing isn’t in a dumpster by the time they come pick it up.
Hardest Assembly EverKellyThis dresser was the biggest nightmare to assemble. It took two people, three days, and eventually a task rabbit to complete this dresser. I’ve assembled quite a few IKEA dressers in my time- all pretty straightforward. Not this one…The directions skip over MANY important details such as which exact screws to utilize, which direction things need to face and much more. The actual screws and pegs were poor quality and stripped easily. Certain holes didn’t line up exactly. On top of all of this- they gave us mismatching colors; so we have a black and white dresser. Spend your money on something else or get it delivered and assembled professionally.

Poor qualityQuanOne of the pieces was broken, contacted customer service for new piece, was told it was available in store, drove an hour for them to said none in stock. Took 4 days to get a new piece, just for it to arrived broken. At this point it's getting ridiculous, I've been trying to put this dresser together since last week. Not sure how much longer it'll take to get a piece that's actually not broken.
Great!! Make sure drawer tracks are in the right place before screwing them inKatieGot this dresser a few weeks ago and I love it. The assembly was a bit frustrating because we kept mixing up the L and R drawer tracks, so I ended up using wood glue to secure those screws where I had to take the tracks off and put them back. The drawers glide nicely and won’t fall out, which was my main complaint with my old dresser that was much more expensive. The drawers aren’t perfectly straight when looking at them, but that’s just me being nitpicky and probably inherent to self-assembled furniture

Looks beautiful!SupriyaIt is a sturdy, good quality product. Got two dressers for the closet. . One with eight drawers and one with six. The first one took some time to assemble as there were several pieces required to put it together. The second one was a breeze. Would recommend this product.
