We bought this to useAshleyWe bought this to use in our bathroom for a little extra storage/"counter" space. It works perfectly for this! We are able to keep our folded, clean towels on the lower shelf and can use the bench as a place to sit, put towel while showering, or a place to lay out bathroom items while packing.5
Love This Bench!BrendaThis is the second bench I have bought. The first one I bought for a tv stand in a bedroom. The new one I actually bought for a coffee table. I needed a small coffee table which is very hard to find. This one is perfect. We did cut off the legs a couple inches to make it shorter but I had that planned to do ahead of time before buying it. Thankfully my husband had done a lot of woodwork so he has the tools to do so. The color gray is so pretty. I had no problem putting it together. It is very sturdy.5

Excellent Product!Anonymous reviewerAs with the coffee table and side tables we bought from this line, we are extremely pleased with the quality and ease of assembly with clear instructions and parts that fit together well - e.g. holes that are pre-drilled and align properly (one of our primary considerations for a rating. Really happy with this line of IKEA products!5

Material

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favorite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the tree species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. We strive to use this raw material as smartly and efficiently as possible to avoid waste – and we also invest in facilities and logistics so that we can increase the use of recycled wood.
