How can I have my items delivered or collect them?
You can have your items delivered to your home, sent as a parcel or made available for collection at an IKEA store, a pick-up point or a collection point. At checkout, you’ll see which options are available for your order.
Home delivery
Curbside delivery
We’ll leave your items at the first accessible place, such as the curbside, the entrance to your building or the edge of your property.
Indoor delivery
We’ll carry your items inside and place them in the room you choose, regardless of which floor you live on. For orders over NOK 30,000, delivery with carrying in is the only available option.
Parcel delivery
This option is suitable for small and medium-sized orders. The parcel can measure up to 120 × 60 × 60 cm and weigh up to 33 kg.
Parcel delivery to the door
Posten will deliver the parcel to your door. You’ll receive a text message before delivery with a more precise time. If you won’t be home, you can choose contactless delivery in the Posten app.
Business parcel delivery
Posten will deliver the parcel to your business address during the day. Posten will send you more information about the delivery.
Pick-up options
Click & Collect at an IKEA store
With Click & Collect, you order items from an IKEA store’s stock and collect them at the store. You’ll receive a text message when your order is ready.
From 1 October 2026, you can no longer choose Click & Collect at IKEA Furuset.
You will receive an SMS when your order is ready for pick-up.
These stores have pick-up lockers that are open 24 hours a day:

- IKEA Leangen
- IKEA Ringsaker
- IKEA Slependen
IKEA Furuset as a pick-up point
You can still order online and collect your items at IKEA Furuset if it’s available as a collection point for your order. You’ll see this under “Delivery or pick-up” at checkout.
This is a different option from Click & Collect. Your items are sent from the central warehouse in Vestby to Furuset. We’ll let you know when they’re ready to collect.
Click & Collect near you
A Bring van delivers the items to the pick-up point you choose when placing your order. Pick up your items within your chosen time slot.
Bring pick-up point
This option is suitable for larger orders or items that are not available at the store. You can pick up your items from a Bring pick-up point near you. Choose a pick-up point and pick-up time when placing your order.
Parcel delivery to a pick-up point
This option is suitable for parcels that weigh up to 20 kg and measure up to 120 × 60 × 60 cm. You can pick up the parcel from a post office, a Post in Shop location or a parcel locker.
The date shown when you place your order is an estimate. You will receive updates along the way.
