Frequently asked questions

How does an online planning consultation work? What do I need?

You can book an online planning consultation with one of our specialists to help plan your kitchen, bedroom, or any space in your home. All you need is internet access and a computer, tablet, or mobile phone to join the session.
How should I prepare for my IKEA planning consultation?

Before your appointment, take note of your room measurements, including height, width, and depth, as well as the location and size of windows, doors, and power outlets. It also helps to bring a list of your needs and style preferences. A simple drawing or photo of your space can make the interior design and planning process smoother.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your free space planning consultation by following the instructions in the confirmation email you received. For paid planning consultations, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
