Checking availability...Japanese designer Noboru Nakamura is the man behind the successful POÄNG armchair, launched in 1977. In 2022 he removed the headrest – a new design as it now owns its place in the Nytillverkad collection.

Care
CushionMachine wash warm, normal cycle.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron medium temperature, max 300°F/150°C.
Dry clean any solvent except trichloroethylene.
Vacuum clean.

In 2022, Noboru Nakamura changed the design by removing the headrest. A new, compact and modern look, yet the rocking feature and comfort of the layer-glued and bent wooden frame remained the same.
POEM armchair, later renamed POÄNG, was shown for the first time on the cover of our 1977 catalogue. Then with a headrest.

- The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist color fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.
